SERAIKELA – Deputy Commissioner Ravishankar Shukla addressed various public grievances during the weekly Janata Darbar, focusing on immediate resolution of pressing issues.

Several land-related disputes received attention at the meeting. Meanwhile, tribal empowerment initiatives took center stage with new skill development programs.

Tribal Development Focus

The administration approved training programs for Sabar tribal women. “The initiative aims to promote self-employment through handicraft skills,” explained a district official.

Women from Ketumba village will receive training in sewing. Additionally, they will learn bamboo and grass craft making for sustainable livelihood.

Welfare Schemes

Officials processed applications for various welfare schemes. Moreover, the DC reviewed cases related to the Abua Housing scheme.

The administration addressed concerns about the Sabitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana. Furthermore, support measures for a deceased para-teacher’s family were discussed.
