DC Mittal Directs Officials to Speed Up Compensation Distribution

JAMSHEDPUR – District administration reviewed multiple infrastructure projects requiring land acquisition and compensation distribution during a key meeting.

The district currently has 14 significant infrastructure projects in various stages. Seven projects are in the compensation phase.

Meanwhile, another seven projects are undergoing land acquisition procedures. These include vital road and bridge developments.

Infrastructure Development Plans

The projects encompass several critical infrastructure initiatives. The NH-33 widening project aims to reduce traffic congestion.

Moreover, the Dhalbhumgarh airport approach road will improve connectivity to the upcoming airport facility. The airport project has been awaiting green signal for a long time.

Furthermore, the Mango Swarnarekha River bridge construction will enhance local transportation. The bridge project has an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore.

Administrative Actions

District Magistrate Ananya Mittal has emphasized timely project completion. He has directed officials to resolve pending issues promptly.

On the other hand, officials must expedite consultations with local bodies. The administration has set strict deadlines for completing land surveys.

Additionally, the Road Construction Department is coordinating with NHAI for technical assistance. The department has allocated special teams for verification processes.
