MEDININAGAR – The Queen of Peace Church on Station Road hosted a joyous Christmas gathering marked by special prayers and cultural performances.

Bishop Theodore Mascarenhas of Daltonganj Diocese presided over the holy Mass. Meanwhile, various church units participated in the celebrations.

Christians from urban and rural areas attended the gathering. Moreover, they engaged in worship services and carol singing.

Special Mass

The celebration began with traditional church worship services. Furthermore, different units presented devotional songs celebrating Jesus’s birth.

On the other hand, the Bishop conducted the sacred Mass ceremony. Additionally, he blessed the traditional nativity scene.

Cultural Celebrations

Young members performed the dance “Charwahe Nache Jhoom Ke”. Meanwhile, Christmas carols filled the festive atmosphere.

The gathering included a cake-cutting ceremony. Additionally, devotees presented lively Christmas dance performances.

Message of Peace

Bishop Mascarenhas delivered a meaningful Christmas message. Moreover, he emphasized Jesus’s birth bringing hope during challenging times.

Parish Priest Arvind Munda and Father Ajay Minj attended the event. Furthermore, numerous faithful participated in the celebrations.
