JAMSHEDPUR – Guru Gobind Singh High School, Telco celebrated its 18th annual sports day with diverse athletic and cultural performances.

The event commenced with a symbolic torch race. Special runners and school athletes led the ceremonial run.

“The participation was extraordinary this year,” noted a sports committee member.

Moreover, students from nursery to Class 10 displayed their talents. Various competitions tested their sporting abilities.

Special Performances

The martial arts demonstration captivated the audience. Students showcased impressive yoga poses during the event.

Meanwhile, primary students presented colorful drill performances. High school students added to the day’s excitement.

“The welcome dance set a perfect tone for celebrations,” remarked an organizing member.

Award Ceremony

The school recognized outstanding athletes with medals. Merit certificates were distributed to top performers.

Furthermore, cross-country race winners received special honors. The race was organized by Tata Motors earlier.

Sports teacher Virendra Kumar Mishra coordinated the events. Coaches Sunil Prasad and Niranjan Kumar provided expert guidance.

Various committees supported the celebration. The Gurudwara Management Committee played a significant role.
