JAMSHEDPUR – Yash Kumar, a Class 12 student from Narbheram Hansraj English School, will represent the city at the 68th National School Games 2024 in Indore starting December 20.

The karate championship will be held at Emerald Heights International School. Furthermore, Yash is the sole male participant from Jamshedpur in his weight category. The tournament showcases India’s top young martial artists.

Athletic Journey

Yash has trained consistently since primary school. “His dedication to karate is remarkable,” noted a sports analyst. Additionally, his selection continues NHES’s tradition of national-level athletes.

School’s Sports Legacy

Principal Paramita Roy Chaudhury highlighted the achievement. Moreover, female students from NHES have previously competed at SGFI. The school emphasizes holistic development through sports.
