JAMSHEDPUR – Kowali police apprehended Chandrashekhar Patra, who had been absconding for three months in a ganja smuggling case.
Patra was presented before the judicial magistrate and subsequently sent to jail.
The station in-charge revealed that Chandrashekhar Patra, a resident of Odisha Haat Badra, was the main accused in a case of illegal ganja sale.
Patra had been evading arrest since the incident occurred three months ago.
The police successfully arrested him by raiding his house with the assistance of local police, acting on a tip-off.
