MEDININAGAR – Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) Rajhara area has donated a 50 KVA diesel generator to the Indian Red Cross Society’s Palamu branch under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
On Monday, CCL General Manager Manish Kumar inaugurated the generator after a ceremonial puja. Pandit Mrityunjay Mishra performed the rituals with Vedic chants to mark the occasion.
Commitment to Social Responsibility
Speaking at the event, General Manager Manish Kumar highlighted CCL’s commitment to social and public welfare activities. He stated that the generator donation aims to support Red Cross Society’s efforts in providing healthcare services to the people. In addition, wheelchairs were also handed over for the convenience of patients.
Gratitude Expressed by Red Cross
Dr. Satyajit Gupta, Secretary of the Palamu Red Cross branch, expressed gratitude to CCL Rajhara’s General Manager and team for their support. He appreciated the company’s proactive role in enhancing public services through CSR programs.
Presence of Key Dignitaries
The event was attended by several dignitaries, including CCL’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sachidanand, Chief Manager Mining V. Adam, Electrical Chief Manager M.P. Gupta, Assistant Manager Saurabh Bhardwaj, and Dr. Anil Kanojia. Red Cross representatives, including Vice President Dr. Anil Singh, Treasurer Sudhir Singh, and Convenor Sudhir Agarwal, were also present. Other notable attendees included Alok Verma, Krishna Prasad Agarwal, Alok Mathur, Nilesh Chandra, and several Red Cross members.
The program concluded with appreciation for CCL’s continued involvement in supporting healthcare and social welfare in Palamu.
