JAMSHEDPUR – NIT Jamshedpur’s team clinches national victory at Smart India Hackathon 2024 with innovative rural planning solution.

The competition drew massive participation. Only 1,300 teams reached the finale.

Winning Team

Vikash Kumar led the six-member team. Other members brought diverse skills.

Team “Dead Lock” focused on rural development. Their solution integrated multiple technologies.

Project Details

The solution used drone survey data. GIS information enhanced planning capabilities.

Gamification made rural planning accessible. Moreover, the approach simplified complex data.

Institute Support

Prof. D. K. Yadav coordinated the internal event. Dr. Vishesh Ranjan Kar provided guidance.
