Congress District President Jaish Ranjan Pathak, also known as Bittoo Pathak, led the ceremony, offering Kishore a shawl and a bouquet. Addressing the gathering, Finance Minister Radha Krishna Kishore expressed his heartfelt gratitude to senior Congress leaders, party workers, and supporters. He acknowledged their contribution to his political success, stating, “It is the support of Congress leaders, workers, and the public that has brought me to this position.”
Kishore reflected on his political beginnings, which started with the Congress party. “Despite being compelled to join other parties under certain circumstances, I never forgot the values and culture instilled by Congress,” he remarked.
