Rajendra Prasad Offers Assistance to Elderly During Visit to Old Age Home
Rajendra Prasad, the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), recently made a significant visit to an old age home in the region, where he engaged with residents and pledged to enhance their access to essential services.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a heartfelt community outreach, Rajendra Prasad, Secretary of the DLSA, extended his support and assistance during a visit to a local old age home.
Upon his arrival, Prasad was warmly received with a bouquet by Monojit Pramanik, Director of Furida, the social organization operating the home. The elderly residents also welcomed him affectionately with flowers.
Throughout his visit, Prasad took the time to personally interact with each of the home’s residents. He inquired about their health and checked on their access to essential documents such as ration cards, voter identification, Ayushman health cards, and pensions.
Noticing a lack of Ayushman cards among many residents, Prasad committed to taking swift action to rectify this issue, ensuring they would soon receive the necessary health benefits.
Accompanied by his team including PLV Sanjay Kumar Tiwari, Sanjit Kumar Das, and DLSA employees Sanjay Kumar and Ravi Murmu, Prasad thoroughly inspected the facility’s accommodations, kitchen, and communal areas, assessing their condition and discussing further improvements.
This visit underscores the DLSA’s dedication to the welfare of senior citizens, highlighting a proactive approach in addressing the needs and concerns of the elderly in the community.
