JAMSHEDPUR – A seven-day intensive first aid and disaster management training program is gaining popularity at the Excel Technical Institute in Dhatkidih, Jamshedpur. Conducted monthly for three consecutive months, it attracts participants from across India.

The program, led by Team PSF under the guidance of trainer Arijit Sarkar, is celebrated for its comprehensive coverage of emergency preparedness topics. Participants consistently commend Sarkar’s engaging teaching style and practical approach.

During the sessions, trainees receive in-depth lessons on topics like CPR, artificial respiration, fire safety, and managing fractures and burns. The training includes hands-on demonstrations of bandaging, stretcher drills, ambulance loading, and knot-tying techniques essential for first aid.

Additionally, participants learn rescue methods like the fireman lift, rescue crawl, and toe drag. Sessions emphasize life-saving measures within the golden hour, as well as awareness about blood donation and handling snake and dog bites. Sarkar’s unique teaching style integrates real-life scenarios and practical presentations to enhance understanding.

Arijit Sarkar noted, “Practical learning is crucial in emergency preparedness. Our goal is to empower participants with skills that can save lives in critical situations.”
