JAMSHEDPUR – Rising anger over alleged atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh has sparked protests across India, with demonstrators calling for urgent intervention to protect minorities.

In Jamshedpur, the Hindu Ekta Manch staged a protest on Monday, condemning the Bangladesh government. Members burned an effigy of Bangladesh’s caretaker Prime Minister and raised slogans demanding an end to the oppression of minority Hindus in the neighboring country.

The protesters urged the Indian government to address the issue diplomatically. A spokesperson for the Hindu Ekta Manch warned, “If atrocities against Hindus do not stop, we will intensify our protests against the Bangladeshi government.”
