MANASI’s Annual Girl Child Scholarship Program awards 150 scholarships to girls from low-income families in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Motors Officers Wives Association, MANASI, held its Annual Girl Child Scholarship Program, awarding scholarships to 150 underprivileged girl students.

Ravindra Kulkarni, Head of the Tata Motors Jamshedpur Plant, attended the event as the Chief Guest.

The scholarship ceremony took place on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Telco Club.

Senior Tata Motors officers, doctors, teachers, students, and NGO representatives were present at the programme.

MANASI’s managing committee, including President Rashmi Kulkarni and Secretary Sarita Kumar, provided updates on the organization’s various initiatives.

The association has been actively promoting education for girls, awarding scholarships to 150 students from economically weaker families across 17 different schools in the city.

In November 2023, MANASI installed sanitary napkin incinerators at two local schools, demonstrating their commitment to health and hygiene.

The organization donated sewing machines to the Vikas showroom in January, aiming to improve livelihood opportunities.

MANASI supported Samudaik Uch Vidyalaya in Barigora by funding washroom renovations, installing a water cooler, and providing chairs for teaching staff in March 2024.

"Our organization continues to make long-term, comprehensive, and holistic contributions to the community," stated a MANASI representative.
