RANCHI – Congress party’s prolonged decision-making process has stalled the Jharkhand cabinet expansion, with 11 ministerial positions remaining vacant.

The newly formed coalition government faces its first organizational challenge. JMM has identified candidates for their six ministerial positions. Meanwhile, RJD has proposed Suresh Paswan for their single seat.

Regional Politics at Play

Congress aims to balance regional and social equations. Moreover, party representatives from various divisions are actively seeking positions. Several Congress MLAs have traveled to Delhi for lobbying.

Division-wise Contenders

The Santhal Pargana division presents four strong candidates. Meanwhile, Sona Ram Sinku represents Kolhan’s interests. Furthermore, South Chota Nagpur division has put forward four potential ministers.

Final Steps Ahead

State Congress president will meet Delhi leadership today. In addition, party in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir has reached Delhi. “The final list should be ready by evening,” stated a reliable source.
