JAMSHEDPUR – A special aid distribution event for differently-abled children is set for January 12, commemorating Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.

The Jharkhand Viklang Sansthan and Divyang Margdarshan Trust, in collaboration with Scouts and Guides, Jamshedpur, announced the initiative at a press conference held at the Sakchi Aam Bagan Grounds office.

Representatives shared plans to distribute wheelchairs, crutches, and bicycles to around 200 children at Birsa Munda Town Hall in Sitagoda.

Mr. Shrivastava from the organization emphasized the lack of government support, urging local institutions to assist. “We appeal to the community to support our cause for these children,” he said.

Meanwhile, the press briefing highlighted the event’s alignment with Swami Vivekananda’s ideals of service and inclusion.

This annual event has consistently helped numerous beneficiaries. The trust also noted its reliance on individual contributions to sustain its efforts.

Similar initiatives across Jharkhand have showcased how grassroots organizations can drive social change. The upcoming event is expected to bring together volunteers, donors, and the local community in solidarity with the differently-abled.
