Employees Honored in TSDPL’s “Naukri Chhodo, Naukri Pao” Scheme
Three employees retire, paving the way for their children’s employment at Tata Steel Downstream Products Ltd.
Under Tata Steel’s "Naukri Chhodo, Naukri Pao" scheme, three employees of Tata Steel Downstream Products Ltd. (formerly Tata Ryerson) have successfully transitioned, enabling their children to join the company.
JAMSHEDPUR – Three employees of Tata Steel Downstream Products Ltd. (TSDPL), formerly known as Tata Ryerson, have retired under the "Naukri Chhodo, Naukri Pao" scheme, with their children now set to take their places.
The employees, Siddheshwar Shukla and Santosh Pandey from the CR plant, and Jogeshwar Mahato from the Bara plant, applied to have their children join the company under this scheme.
Their applications were accepted by the management.
In a joint farewell ceremony by the management and the union at the Bara Auditorium, the three employees were honored with flower garlands, shawls, and gift vouchers.
Trainee HR Ishu Shreya conducted the event.
GM Ashwani Kumar highlighted that the company has always been full of young talent and now it’s time to bid farewell to veteran employees, making way for the next generation.
He wished the retiring employees a happy and fulfilling life ahead and encouraged them to contribute to social responsibilities.
Union General Secretary Aman Kumar assured that the union would continue to support their retired colleagues as needed.
The three employees expressed their gratitude to the management and the union and requested continued support for their children.
The joining process for their sons began immediately.
