JAMSHEDPUR – A family’s noble decision to donate their deceased father’s eyes brings hope for vision restoration through Team Roshni and Jamshedpur Eye Hospital’s joint effort.

The cornea retrieval took place at JEH’s specialized facility.

Meanwhile, the procedure followed strict medical protocols for eye donation.

"This selfless act will help two visually impaired individuals regain sight," remarked a senior eye specialist.

Moreover, Team Roshni has facilitated over 500 successful eye donations since 2010.

In addition, JEH maintains a state-of-the-art eye bank for cornea preservation.

Furthermore, Dr. Singh has performed more than 1000 corneal transplants in his career.

A local resident shared, "Such donations inspire others to pledge their eyes."

Besides, corneal blindness affects approximately 1.5 million Indians annually.

However, only 25% of corneal transplant needs are currently met in India.
