JAMSHEDPUR – The much-awaited results of the Jharkhand Assembly elections will be announced today, determining the fate of six constituencies in East Singhbhum.

The day begins with the unsealing of strong rooms for postal ballots at 4:30 AM at the District Industries Center, followed by EVM strong rooms at 7 AM at Cooperative College.

Candidates and agents have been directed to adhere to stringent protocols during the process.

Counting Procedures and Restrictions

The counting of postal ballots will commence at 8 AM sharp, followed by EVM votes at 8:30 AM.

The counting center at Cooperative College will operate under strict security, with agents and candidates permitted to carry only essential items like pens, pencils, and paper.

Mobile phones, cameras, and any form of banners or political symbols are strictly prohibited.

An official stated, "The guidelines ensure a fair and smooth counting process. Candidates are expected to cooperate fully."

Timeline of Results

Baharagora is expected to declare its results first due to its relatively small size of 264 booths, with counting projected to finish in 19 rounds.

Conversely, Jamshedpur West, with 348 booths and 22 counting rounds, will conclude last.

Other constituencies such as Potka and Jamshedpur East will require 21 rounds, while Ghatsila and Jugsalai will each complete in 20 rounds.

Security Measures and Compliance

With Section 144 in effect, the district has implemented strict measures to prevent any form of public gatherings or victory processions.

Election authorities have emphasized the importance of adhering to these restrictions.

All expenses incurred by candidates, including those related to celebrations, must be reported by November 25 for inclusion in their election expenditure.
