SERAIKELA – Training sessions for counting supervisors and assistants for the Assembly Election 2024 were conducted in Seraikela at two locations to prepare for the November 23 vote counting.
The training was held at Kashi Sahu College, Saraikela, with staff also gathered at NIT Jamshedpur, Adityapur, and NR High School, Seraikela. Officials were briefed extensively on EVM operations, security protocols, and election guidelines by master trainers.
At NR High School, 111 EVM counting supervisors, 115 assistants, 56 postal ballot assistants, and 26 postal supervisors underwent training. Meanwhile, 128 EVM micro-observers and 26 postal micro-observers attended sessions at NIT Jamshedpur.
Trainers focused on procedural details, including EVM usage and ensuring adherence to the Election Commission’s directions. Attendees’ doubts and questions were addressed comprehensively during interactive segments.
The sessions aim to ensure smooth and transparent vote counting for the Assembly polls, emphasizing security measures and procedural accuracy.
