JAMSHEDPUR – The Children’s Fair, jointly organized by Swarnarekha Development Trust and Nature Foundation, brought vibrant energy to Sidgora’s Children’s Park on Wednesday, November 20.
The event started at 8 AM and continued until 4 PM, featuring participation from over 25 schools across Jamshedpur.
Students, accompanied by their sports teachers, principals, and school officials, took part in a variety of events.
Competitions were divided into categories by age and gender, including frog races, biscuit races, sack races, discus throws, and taekwondo.
For junior boys and girls (grades 4 to 7), popular activities included frog races and biscuit/toffee races.
Senior boys and girls (grades 8 to 10) competed in events such as discus throw, spoon races, and rope skipping.
Taekwondo and kabaddi contests were open to students aged 12 and above.
A yoga session, painting competition, and fancy dress parade added creative flair to the fair.
Special attention was given to inclusivity, with a sports competition held for differently-abled children from Cheshire Home.
