ABVP Jamshedpur Celebrates Rani Lakshmibai Jayanti as ‘Stree Shakti Diwas’

JAMSHEDPUR – The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jamshedpur commemorated Rani Lakshmibai’s birth anniversary as "Stree Shakti Diwas" with a series of inspiring events.

The event began with a lamp-lighting ceremony led by Dr. Mausami Paul, ABVP Jharkhand State Vice President, and Satendra Ram, Principal of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir. ABVP Jamshedpur Metropolitan Co-Ministers Neha Jha and Roshni Kumari also participated in the inauguration.

Students competed in a drawing competition and a speech contest focusing on the life of Rani Lakshmibai. The top three winners in both categories were honored with awards, while all participants received certificates of appreciation from ABVP.

Dr. Mausami Paul highlighted the importance of recognizing women’s strength through such initiatives. She emphasized that Rani Lakshmibai’s life is a testament to the power and potential of women in shaping their families, society, and nation.

Principal Satendra Ram lauded ABVP’s efforts, urging more events to empower female students to present themselves as strong individuals in society.

Key dignitaries attending the event included Metropolitan Organization Secretary Rohit Dev, Metropolitan Minister Abhishek Kumar, District Coordinator Vishal Verma, State Sports Co-Coordinator Aman Thakur, and Social Media Heads Ayush Jha and Arya Jha.

The program not only celebrated the valor of Rani Lakshmibai but also inspired students to carry forward her legacy of courage and empowerment.
