JAMSHEDPUR – The Andhra Bhakt Shri Ram Mandir in Bistupur witnessed a grand Satyanarayan Puja, attracting over 230 couples in a spiritually enriching ceremony.
The event featured puja materials specially sourced from Andhra Pradesh, with rituals conducted by learned priests from Annavaram, known for their expertise in traditional practices.
The puja commenced with Ganesh and Navagraha rituals, creating an atmosphere of devotion and reverence.
Lead priest D. Satyanarayan explained the significance of the rituals during the Kartika month, emphasizing their spiritual benefits.
Following the puja, prasadam was prepared in the Annavaram tradition, made from wheat, sugar, ghee, cashews, raisins, and cardamom, offering devotees an authentic culinary experience.
Nearly 1,000 devotees attended the event and savored the prasadam, adding to the devotional fervor of the occasion.
Temple General Secretary Durga Prasad Sharma expressed gratitude towards all organizers and volunteers for their contribution to the successful event.
Notable attendees included A.D.L. Society President Y. Eshwar Rao, Kadma Andhra Association President Major Satyanarayan, and Bal Ganpati Vilas President Y.K. Sharma.
