RANCHI – Young political leader Jairam ‘Tiger’ Mahto enters Jharkhand Assembly elections, contesting from dual constituencies.
The charismatic leader has transformed his movement into a registered political party.
Moreover, JLKM has positioned candidates across 71 assembly constituencies.
Meanwhile, Mahto faces significant electoral battles in both Dumri and Bermo constituencies.
Furthermore, his party strongly advocates for the implementation of the 1932 Khatian land settlement policy.
"The future of Jharkhand depends on preserving our identity and ensuring local rights," remarked a senior JLKM party member.
However, the party recently experienced setbacks as two candidates defected to JMM.
In addition, Mahto represents the influential Kurmi community, which holds sway in 35 assembly seats.
On the other hand, his previous electoral performance shows strong voter support.
Meanwhile, the party continues its fight for local language rights across 11 districts.
Besides, Mahto’s unique style and car-bonnet speeches have garnered significant youth following.
"Our movement represents the aspirations of every common citizen," stated a party spokesperson.
