JAMSHEDPUR – The Telco area witnessed a shocking murder as Sunil Singh, a 44-year-old resident of Birsanagar, was shot dead on his way to a physiotherapy session.

The incident took place around 11 AM near Situ Talab, where unidentified assailants opened fire on Singh and his companion, Gulshan.

Family members rushed to the scene after receiving the news and took Singh to Tata Motors Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Gulshan, who was injured in the attack, is currently undergoing treatment.

Eyewitnesses reported that Singh and Gulshan were traveling on a scooter when the assailants struck suddenly.

Police have registered a case and initiated a probe. Efforts are underway to apprehend the culprits.

This incident follows a spate of crimes in Jamshedpur after the conclusion of local elections, raising concerns among residents about law and order.
