RANCHI – The Jharkhand government has undertaken a significant reshuffling of its police force, affecting 24 IPS officers, including those holding pivotal roles within the state.
Manoj Ratan Chothe steps in as the new Kolhan DIG, succeeding Ajay Linda, in a move aimed at refreshing the region’s law enforcement leadership.
Praveen Pushkar has been appointed as the new Railway SP of Jamshedpur, taking over from Rishabh Jha.
In Seraikela Kharsawan, Manish Toppo has been designated as the new SP, replacing Dr. Bimal Kumar, who moves to Ramgarh in a similar capacity.
This reshuffle extends beyond these positions, with changes affecting various districts and key roles within the state’s police department.
The adjustments include Narendra Singh stepping in for Anjani Anjan as the Latehar SP and a new appointment for the Palamau DIG position.
These changes reflect the government’s intent to optimize law enforcement operations across Jharkhand, ensuring a strategic alignment of officers to enhance public safety and operational efficiency.
