JAMSHEDPUR – In a tragic accident on NH-33 near Bhilai Pahari, a trailer traveling from Kharagpur to Jamshedpur overturned around 11:40 a.m. on Thursday, leading to the death of its driver, Ajit Kumar.

The 27-year-old driver, a resident of Nawada district in Bihar, was trapped under the overturned vehicle.

Emergency responders and bystanders worked together to free Kumar, who was rushed to MGM Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Another driver, Dharmendra Yadav, who was traveling with Kumar, reported that the trailer lost control while turning near Bhilai Pahari, causing it to flip over.

The incident has been reported to the police, and Kumar’s body will undergo postmortem after his family arrives.

Kumar, who had been working as a driver in Jamshedpur for the last four to five years, leaves behind two young children.
