SAHIBGANJ – As Jharkhand’s election approaches its final phase, political leaders are ramping up their campaigns. Assam Chief Minister and BJP star campaigner Hemanta Biswa Sarma addressed a rally in Udhwa, Sahibganj, supporting Rajmahal BJP candidate Anant Ojha and calling for a BJP majority.
During his address, Biswa Sarma declared that the people of Jharkhand are prepared to remove the current coalition government. He stated that the public had decided to elect a BJP-led government with a full majority this time, criticizing the current administration for alleged mismanagement.
In his speech, Biswa Sarma targeted Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s leadership, accusing his government of exploiting Jharkhand’s natural resources. He asserted that the current administration had allowed illegal influxes from Bangladesh, allegedly affecting the demographics of the Santhal Parganas and diminishing the tribal population in the area.
“The people of Jharkhand have had enough of this coalition that drains the state’s resources,” a BJP insider remarked. “They’re ready for a government that will restore stability and prosperity.”
