JAMSHEDPUR – Kali Pada Lohar and his mother Baby Karmakar, residents of Kadma’s Bage Basti, were seriously injured in a road accident near Chilgu Mod while returning from casting their votes in Chouka.
According to reports, Lohar had taken his mother on his motorcycle to vote at Chouka early in the morning.
As they were returning home, their motorcycle collided with a stationary car near Chilgu Mod, causing significant injuries to both.
Local residents quickly came to their aid and transported them to MGM Hospital, where both are now undergoing treatment for their injuries.
Baby Karmakar’s relative, Benjamin Paul, shared that the accident happened on their way back from the polling station in Chouka.
The community’s prompt response to the accident ensured they received timely medical attention.
