JAMSHEDPUR – As polling in the first phase of Jharkhand Assembly elections nears completion, voter turnout reached approximately 64.86% by 5 p.m., as per data from the Election Commission.

East Singhbhum, which includes Jamshedpur, recorded a strong turnout of 64.87%. The Baharagora constituency reported the highest voter engagement in East Singhbhum with 76.15%, while Potka and Ghatsila saw turnouts of 72.29% and 70.05%, respectively.
