JAMSHEDPUR – Rajkumar Singh, an independent candidate, officially filed his nomination for the 48-Jamshedpur East constituency.
Singh, who previously served as the Vice President of the BJP’s Kisan Morcha and the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in Jharkhand, submitted his nomination papers before the returning officer in Jamshedpur.
Singh has also held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Zila Parishad of East Singhbhum district.
He has a long history of social service in the region.
Singh stated that his decision to contest the election was driven by a desire to represent ordinary citizens.
"I am contesting the election as a common worker, to honor the efforts of every supporter and worker," Singh mentioned, addressing the media after filing his nomination.
He further urged voters to support him in this endeavor.
