Sarma highlighted Purnima Das Sahu, the BJP candidate from Jamshedpur East, calling her a young and capable leader. He emphasized that Sahu, a former journalist, has been actively involved in social work for many years, which reflects her maturity and dedication. "It was a decision left entirely to those who joined from JMM," he stated, defending the party’s candidate selections.
Focus on Jamshedpur East
Particular attention was given to Jamshedpur East, where BJP has fielded Purnima Das Sahu.
