JAMSHEDPUR – Congress’s probable candidate for Jamshedpur East, Dr. Ajoy Kumar, is set to file his nomination on October 24, vowing to bring change to the constituency.
Dr. Kumar’s representative, Advocate Pradeep Kumar Singh, has purchased the nomination form.
Moreover, the candidate expressed confidence in the electorate’s readiness for change.
"The people of Jamshedpur East are eager for a new direction," a source close to Dr. Kumar stated.
Kumar criticized the 25-year rule of a single party in the constituency.
Furthermore, he alleged that this period saw an increase in fear, corruption, and terror.
The candidate pointed out the lack of basic amenities in the region.
In addition, Kumar highlighted the absence of new colleges or industries over the past 25 years.
"Even access to clean drinking water remains a distant dream for many," an observer remarked.
The candidate referenced a previous attempt at change through a rebel BJP candidate.
However, Kumar claimed that this attempt left the people feeling betrayed and disappointed.
Meanwhile, he stressed that the electorate has become more discerning.
Kumar believes voters will demand accountability for the past 25 years of perceived neglect.
