JAMSHEDPUR – Odisha Governor and former Chief Minister Raghubar Das performed Kanya Puja at the Sheetla Mata Temple near his Jamshedpur residence on the occasion of Navratri.
Das, accompanied by his wife, son, and other family members, conducted the ritual as part of Navratri celebrations.
Before the Kanya Puja, he offered prayers and performed the Aarti for Goddess Durga.
After worshipping the nine girls, he offered them traditional food as part of the ritual and sought their blessings.
Speaking on the occasion, Das expressed his prayers to Goddess Durga for the happiness, prosperity, and progress of the nation.
