JAMSHEDPUR – Odisha Governor Raghubar Das inaugurated a magnificent Durga Puja pandal at Agrico Club House, showcasing Jamshedpur’s cultural vibrancy during Sharadiya Navratri.
The Agrico Puja Committee has erected a stunning 75-ft-high pandal themed "Mayur Vihar".
Moreover, the structure features intricate bamboo craftsmanship and is adorned with cloth and pastel colors.
At the heart of the pandal stands a captivating 14-ft statue of Maa Durga.
In addition, a striking peacock structure graces the entrance, enhancing its visual appeal.
The estimated construction cost of this grand pandal is Rs 12 lakh.
During the inauguration, Governor Das offered prayers alongside other dignitaries.
Furthermore, he extended his best wishes to the people of Jamshedpur and Jharkhand for Sharadiya Navratri.
The Governor emphasized that Durga Puja celebrates both spirituality and community unity.
On the other hand, Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato and Chandragupta Singh attended the ceremony.
Meanwhile, local leaders such as former MLA Kunal Sharangi also graced the event.
The pandal has become a major attraction, drawing large crowds from far and wide.
