JAMSHEDPUR – The School Management Committee of BDSLCT Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir has approved significant pay revisions for its teachers and staff, effective from October 2024.
The decision was made during a meeting held on Sunday at the school premises.
Committee Chairman Satyanarayan Jain chaired the gathering, extending Durga Puja greetings to all attendees.
The committee approved the implementation of the 6th Pay Scale for teachers and staff.
Moreover, a 10% dearness allowance was sanctioned as a festive bonus for Durga Puja.
The new salary structure will be based on guidelines from the Vidya Vikas Samiti, Jharkhand.
Meanwhile, the principal announced that the finalized report would be submitted to the State Secretary for approval.
Secretary Praveen Kumar Agarwal discussed plans for educational and school development during the meeting.
Furthermore, Co-Secretary Narayan Prasad pledged to donate five computer sets to enhance the school’s technological resources.
The gathering also witnessed the inauguration of a 1000-litre water filter.
This essential facility was generously donated by the Parmanand Deva Devi Trust, led by Ramavtar Agarwal.
Key attendees included Treasurer Dr. Krishnu Verma and Vice President Dharmesh Chauhan.
Additionally, representatives from the teaching staff, parents, and the district’s Sangh propagator were present.
The meeting addressed various aspects of school improvement and staff welfare.
