CHAIBASA – Farmers plan to plant paddy on National Highway 75E between Chaibasa and Hatgamharia on October 8, protesting poor construction and lack of compensation.

Jan Miran Munda, President of the Tribal Farmers Labor Party, has raised concerns about the highway’s construction.

Moreover, he has written to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, highlighting irregularities in the NH-75E project.

The letter demands fair compensation for landowners affected by the highway construction.

Furthermore, Munda has requested a thorough land measurement on both sides of the road.

Meanwhile, farmers in the region are expressing their dissatisfaction with the government’s actions.

In addition, the construction company, Ramkripal Singh Construction, is accused of irregularities.

The protest aims to draw attention to the plight of local farmers and landowners.

However, the authorities have not yet responded to the farmers’ grievances.

On the other hand, the highway project was intended to improve connectivity in the region.

The farmers’ decision to plant paddy on the highway underscores their frustration with the situation.
