JAMSHEDPUR – Congress State President Kesav Mahto Kamlesh visited Jamshedpur on Sunday to attend a meeting at the Tinplate Workers’ Union office, hosted by INTUC State President Rakeshwar Pandey.
The meeting was attended by several district INTUC members.
During the session, Pandey formally announced his intention to contest the upcoming assembly elections, following requests from many INTUC members.
Kamlesh, who was present at Pandey’s invitation, addressed the gathering, discussing strategies for the forthcoming polls.
He mentioned that the Congress Party’s screening committee is actively reviewing candidate nominations from across the state.
He emphasized that after reviewing all the names, the party will select the most strong, prominent, and popular candidates to represent them in the upcoming assembly elections.
Kamlesh’s visit and the meeting signify the importance of coordinating efforts between the Congress and its labor union allies as part of the election strategy.
