JAMSHEDPUR – Despite previous orders, patients at MGMMCH emergency are still being treated on the floor.
During an inspection at MGMMCH, the Principal Secretary of the Health Department directed that closed rooms in the emergency ward be opened for beds and the toilet be repaired.
However, no progress has been made, and the situation remains the same.
Toilets in the emergency area are filled with junk, causing inconvenience for patients.
Ahead of the upcoming inspection of a new hospital building by the Mission Director and Principal Secretary, the hospital’s Deputy Superintendent Dr. Nakul Chaudhary inspected the emergency area on Tuesday.
He ordered that all rooms be cleared and the toilets repaired immediately.
Additionally, instructions were given to clean the hospital wards, including the gynecology and pediatric wards.
These measures aim to prepare the hospital for the high-level visit.
