JAMSHEDPUR – A farmer from Ranga Matia village in Dumaria block of East Singhbhum district succumbed to a venomous snake bite.

Budharai Besra, aged 35, was the sole breadwinner for his family.

The tragic incident occurred while he was working in his field.

A poisonous snake bit Besra on his leg during his morning farm work.

Immediately after the attack, family members rushed him to Sadar Hospital in Parsudih.

However, upon arrival, doctors declared Besra dead.

The untimely demise has cast a pall of gloom over the entire village.

Meanwhile, relatives reported that the incident happened during routine agricultural work.

They believe the delay in reaching the hospital may have been critical.

On the other hand, the community is rallying around the bereaved family.

The loss of the primary earner has left the family in a precarious situation.
