JAMSHEDPUR – Railway authorities have announced temporary cancellations and diversions of train services in the Chakradharpur Division to facilitate developmental works.

The Chakradharpur Division is undergoing significant improvements, necessitating adjustments to train schedules.

Several high-speed Vande Bharat Express services will be affected by the ongoing work.

The following details outline the cancellations of Vande Bharat Express trains:

In addition to the Vande Bharat cancellations, other train services will also be affected.

The Tatanagar-Jaynagar Express (18119) will not operate on September 27, 2024, while its return journey (18120) is cancelled for September 28, 2024.

Several trains will be rerouted during this period:


  1. Puri-Yog Nagari Rishikesh Express (18477/18478)



  2. Durg-Ara Express (13287)



  3. Ara-Durg Express (13288)


These diversions aim to minimize disruptions while allowing crucial developmental work to proceed.

A railway official stated, “We understand the inconvenience this may cause to passengers, but these temporary changes are essential for improving our infrastructure and services in the long run.”

Travelers are strongly encouraged to verify their train statuses and plan accordingly during this period of railway upgrades.

The railway authorities emphasize that these measures are temporary and necessary for enhancing the overall travel experience in the future.
