RANCHI – The Election Commission of India (ECI) is set to conduct a two-day review of Jharkhand’s election readiness starting Monday, September 23.
Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar will lead the visiting team to Ranchi.
The delegation includes two other Election Commissioners for this crucial assessment.
Moreover, the Model Code of Conduct is expected to be implemented in the near future.
On Monday, the team will meet with Jharkhand’s chief secretary and director general of police.
Additionally, discussions with representatives from various political parties are scheduled.
The commission will also hold a meeting with officials from 21 enforcement agencies.
Furthermore, an evening session with the Chief Electoral Officer and Nodal Officers is planned.
Tuesday’s agenda includes talks with zonal IGs, DIGs, and divisional commissioners.
District-level officials, including SPs and DCs, will participate in the Tuesday meeting.
