JAMSHEDPUR – The district police launched a public grievance redressal program to swiftly address pending police-related cases across Jharkhand.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal formally inaugurated the event at Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur, Jamshedpur.

The program, initiated under the directives of Jharkhand’s Director General and Inspector General of Police, aims to expedite unresolved police matters.

Senior police officials attended the inauguration ceremony alongside the SSP.

Kaushal described the initiative as a meaningful effort by Jharkhand Police to promptly resolve cases.

Moreover, he emphasized that citizens can also file complaints online for added convenience.

The SSP noted that domestic violence cases were predominant among the reported grievances.

Furthermore, he encouraged people to report social issues like loitering in public spaces and harassment.

Kaushal assured that such complaints would be kept confidential and addressed promptly.

In addition, the program seeks to tackle a wide range of police-related matters that have been pending resolution.

On the other hand, the online complaint system offers an alternative avenue for citizens to voice their concerns.

The initiative demonstrates the Jharkhand Police’s commitment to improving public service and accessibility.
