22-Year-Old Jamshedpur Laborer Dies in Cooking Fire Just Two Months After Marriage

JAMSHEDPUR – Nanda Hembram, 22, succumbed to injuries after his clothing caught fire while he was cooking, a task turned perilous by an unfortunate gust of wind.
The accident occurred in Baijnath Di, within the jurisdiction of Govindpur police station, marking a somber day for the community.
It happened around 9.30 am on a Saturday, quickly escalating as flames enveloped Hembram.
Neighbors rushed to his aid, bringing him to MGM Hospital in a desperate bid for life-saving treatment.
Despite the swift action of the community and medical personnel, doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
Hembram’s family, mourning the loss, revealed that he was a laborer in Govindpur, with his life and dreams cut tragically short.
The young man had entered a new chapter just two months ago, with his marriage marking a beginning that has now ended in tragedy.
He died during treatment after getting badly burnt in a cooking accident at his home.
