MEDININAGAR – Circle Officer Upendra Kumar seized vehicles loaded with illegally felled eucalyptus trees in Sungari village.
The administration received information about illegal tree cutting. Meanwhile, smugglers were loading timber onto trucks and tractors.
The Circle Officer rushed to the spot with a team. However, the smugglers fled with their JCB machine.
Administrative Action
Officials confiscated one truck and a tractor loaded with timber. Furthermore, they handed over the vehicles to Chhatarpur police station.
The administration has launched a detailed investigation. Moreover, they will verify if the land was government or private property.
