JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Workers Union has declared an 18.5% bonus for its employees, bringing cheer to workers ahead of the festive season.

Union President Sanjeev Kumar Choudhary made the announcement on September 18 during a meeting with office bearers.

Moreover, General Secretary Satish Kumar Singh, Deputy President Shailesh Kumar Singh, and Treasurer Amod Kumar Dubey were present at the announcement.

This year’s bonus will benefit 30 employees, including both permanent and contract workers.

Furthermore, the total bonus payout amounts to ₹11,48,418.50, showcasing the company’s commitment to its workforce.

The maximum bonus for an individual employee stands at ₹59,557.05.

On the other hand, the minimum bonus amount is set at ₹43,317.75.

"This bonus reflects our appreciation for the hard work of our employees," stated a union spokesperson.

Additionally, the bonus will be credited to employees’ bank accounts by September 23.

The timely disbursal ensures workers can utilize the funds during the upcoming festive season.

Meanwhile, the announcement has been met with enthusiasm among the union members.

A local labor analyst commented, "Such bonuses boost employee morale and productivity."

Consequently, the bonus is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy.

The breakdown shows that 22 permanent employees and 8 contract workers will receive the bonus.
