Table Tennis Tournament Showcases Student Talent at Bistupur Campus

JAMSHEDPUR – The inaugural sports meet at Jamshedpur Women’s University featured a thrilling table tennis tournament, highlighting student athleticism.

The event took place on September 11 at the Bistupur Campus indoor stadium.

Moreover, 23 participants demonstrated their skills in the competition.

Nidhi Gupta, a second-year BPEd student, emerged victorious.

In addition, Diksha Kumari, also from BPEd second year, secured the runner-up position.

Meanwhile, Khushi Kumari Agarwal, a third-year Biotech student, rounded out the top three.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta expressed pride in the students’ performances.

Furthermore, she emphasized the need to provide better opportunities for nurturing talent.

The success of the event was attributed to the efforts of several individuals.

On the other hand, Dr. Sanatan Deep, Teja, and Prabhat Mahato played crucial roles in organizing the competition.

Besides, the Sports Committee members contributed significantly to the event’s smooth execution.

"The enthusiasm and skill displayed by our students were truly impressive," remarked a knowledgeable source from the university.
