JAMSHEDPUR – The ongoing disputes within the Jamshedpur BJP Metropolitan unit have escalated, with senior leaders expressing dissatisfaction with the current leadership.
A faction of BJP leaders, led by former General Secretary Rakesh Singh, met with BJP’s state election in-charge and Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to raise concerns about the functioning of the district committee.
They alleged that the current Jamshedpur Metropolitan President, Sudhanshu Ojha, has been making unilateral decisions, disregarding the input of senior leaders and party workers.
Multiple examples of such actions were presented during the meeting.
Chouhan assured the delegation that he would discuss the matter with all concerned parties to find a resolution.
During his visit to Jamshedpur, Chouhan was also welcomed and felicitated by the local BJP unit, where discussions were held on strategies to win all four assembly seats in the upcoming elections.
Notable attendees included former District General Secretary Rakesh Singh, Satveer Singh Sumo, former Kadam Mandal President Rajesh Singh, former Ulidih Mandal President Amrendar Paswan, Rakesh Lodhi, and Rakesh Chaudhary, among others.
