JAMSHEDPUR – Karim City College’s Faculty of Commerce received accolades for its significant contributions to skill development and employment promotion at a recent government event.

The Board of Practical Training, Eastern Region, Ministry of Education, bestowed the honor during the Regional Apprenticeship Day celebration in Kolkata.

Moreover, this recognition came after the college’s successful organization of a two-day Apprenticeship cum Job Mela in September 2023.

The event, held in collaboration with the Board of Practical Training, was part of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).

Furthermore, it provided students with a platform to enhance their skills and connect with potential employers.

Dr. Md. Moazzam Nazri, Head of the Faculty of Commerce and College Nodal Officer for NATS, coordinated the event.

Additionally, he proudly accepted the award on behalf of the college at the ceremony.

The college’s leadership, including Dr. Mohammad Zakaria and Dr. Mohammad Reyaz, congratulated Dr. Nazri and his team.

On the other hand, faculty members and non-teaching staff joined in celebrating this prestigious honor.

This achievement underscores Karim City College’s commitment to bridging the education-employment gap.

In addition, it highlights the institution’s dedication to ensuring a brighter future for its students.

The recognition reinforces the college’s role in fostering job readiness among its student body.
