JAMSHEDPUR – A workshop in Mango’s Dimna Basti falls victim to theft, with thieves escaping with valuable tools and iron worth lakhs of rupees.
The incident occurred at Nand Kishore Sharma’s workshop in Mangal Colony, Mango Dimna Basti. Thieves broke the lock and made off with working tools and iron worth lakhs.
Sharma promptly informed BJP leader Vikas Singh about the robbery. Singh then reported the matter to the local Ulidih police station, urging swift action to apprehend the criminals.
Upon visiting the workshop, Singh learned from Sharma about a suspicious incident. A neighborhood boy had come asking for a motorcycle key on Friday night.
The owner suspects this individual might have unlocked the back door from inside. Later that night, the thieves broke in and escaped with the valuable items.
Singh expressed concern over the rising crime rate in the area. He pointed out that while the population has increased, police patrols have not kept pace.
The BJP leader emphasized the need for increased police presence. He believes criminals are taking advantage of the current situation, leading to a surge in criminal activities.
Local authorities are expected to investigate the matter thoroughly. The incident has raised concerns about security measures in the area.
