Jamshedpur prepares for a fortnight of devotion and festivities as the 106th Kadma Shri Shri Ganesh Puja Mahotsav kicks off, promising vibrant celebrations and traditional rituals.
JAMSHEDPUR – The city’s Ganesh Puja Mahotsav, which is renowned for its elaborate pandals and star-studded inauguration ceremony, will commence on Saturday.
The Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations are avidly anticipated by devotees throughout Jamshedpur.
Colorful decorations adorn the streets, creating an electrifying ambiance at the festival.
Eye-catching puja pandals are displayed in prominent locations such as Sakchi, Kadma, and Bistupur.
From September 7 to September 22, the 106th Kadma Shri Shri Ganesh Puja Mahotsav will be conducted.
The inaugural ceremony is scheduled to commence at 7:00 PM tonight.
The event will be graced by the presence of Odisha Governor Raghubar Das as the Chief Guest.
Sekhar Dey, Director of Sreeleathers, serves as the Special Guest.
BJP District President Sudhanshu Ojha and former TWU President R Ravi Prasad are among the notable attendees.
The Kalash Sthapana and Prana Pratishtha rituals will be performed at 9:30 AM on Saturday morning.
These ceremonies will be conducted by former Union Minister Arjun Munda and MLA Akhand Jyoti Saryu Rai.
